VP - Chris Annis

In case you don’t know me, my name is Chris Annis, and I’m your 2012 Manage-ment Vice President. In “real” life, I work for Lakeshore Document Services Com-pany in Muskegon, where I serve as the Operations Manager. I’ve been with LDS since 1998, so I’ve seen the company grow from a very small records storage busi-ness to a full service document management company – including hard copy docu-ment storage, secure document destruction, and electronic imaging of documents and microfilm.<br />
I’ve had the honor and privilege of being a member of this chapter since October 2008. I’ve been a member of the Board of Directors beginning in 2010 as the Indi-vidual Development Director, and in 2011 I was the Individual Development Vice President. I’ve really enjoyed my time on the board, especially since ID is always the FUN area, but I’m also looking forward to something different this year as I take on the responsibilities of the MVP.

Secretary - Erin VanderWier

Hi There, I’m Erin VanderWier (although I’m in the middle of changing my name since getting married and will soon officially be Erin Dabrowski).
This is my second year on the Board of Directors and I’m happy to be a part of such an amaz-ing organization! I finally joined the Greater Muskegon Jaycees in March of 2010 after making the decision to do so back in December of 2009, but that doesn’t really matter because it’s al-ways a good time to join!
I was on the board as Individual Development Director in 2011 under Chris Annis as Vice Presi-dent and we had a great time and led some awesome projects. I knew I wanted to stay in-volved on the board for 2012 and I thank Dani for being flexible.
I’m due with my first little one in May this year and the Jaycees are willing to work with my un-known schedule. I believe we’ve found a good fit as Secretary. This year I hope to grow even more, learn what drives the Jaycees as a national organization and what it takes to make a chapter like ours so great. I’m also interested to see how my perspective changes as my husband and I welcome our baby this summer. Thank you!

Newsletter Editor - Dena Squires

My name is Dena Squires . I have been a Jaycee since 2005 and am so proud to be a part of this chapter. I have been on the Board of Directors since I joined serving as Secretary, Treasurer (in the same year) Webmaster, Management Director, Management VP, President, Chairman of the Board and for the se-cond year in a row—Newsletter Editor.
I work for the Department of Human Services in Grand Rapids as a Registration Support Specialist. I have been married to my husband Andy for 12 years and in our spare time (and warm weather) we enjoy boat-ing.
I didn’t know how much the Jaycees would change my life when I joined. I joined to meet people because we were new to the area. But what I have gained from being a part of this organization will stay with me forever. I am looking forward to this year and all the great things we have planned!
