Get Dressed up to Get Messed up!

May 24, 5:30pm
Join us at the Canary Inn in lovely North Muskegon for our "suit up" happy hour.  The Greater Muskegon Jaycees will be making the scene, and raising some eyebrows in our formal wear.  Show up in your best for some great company, and class up the night! Bring a friend and be the life of the party!

The 'in Series Part 1 - Smokin

May 25, 1:30pm
The -in"-Series kicks off its 3-part plan with Smokin'. Although a more advanced form of the standard grilling or cook outs we have by today's standards, the art of the low-and-slow method is a more traditional approach to the classic barbecues through our American history. We will have our pits running most of the day, but the plan will be to eat and discuss our food at 1:30. At a minimum we will be offering pulled pork, shredded beef, a couple pork sparerib options, and some chicken options in the meat department. We will also be offering smoky options on stuffed mushrooms, zucchini, and eggplant, as a few (but not limited to) options for our vegetarian friends. We are open to suggestions in that department, too! The event is BYOB, and we will have some non-alcoholic options as well. As an event of this sort is a celebration of food, the following is a list of ideas for you to bring to add to our feast (again, not limited to): baked beans, deviled eggs, fresh fruits and veggies, pickles, chips, or any other items that say "cook-out/picnic" to you. Feel free to offer any questions, concerns, or suggestions. There will be a recipe book available, with a complete one to be available at the end of the third installment, so feel free to bring a copy of your famous recipes you wish to share. And let's show Ryan & Leigh Ann our appreciation as Jaycees for opening their home to a great time!

May Membership Meeting

May 28, 5:30pm
Hey Sports Fans! Our May Membership Meeting is moving its location! We are so excited about the nice weather we have been having that we asked Andy if we could have our meeting on the Red Lobster's patio and he said yes! Happy Hour starts at 5:30 and the meeting starts at 6pm!

Wear your favorite sports jersey and join us for our monthly meeting, summer style! We will be covering all of our upcoming events as well as hosting our first Soap Box speaker for the year - new member Jared Olson! We will also be discussing the chapter's website and what should be on it. WE NEED YOU!

Join us for yummy food and cocktails and spend some time with your fellow Jaycees. Know anyone who would make a great Jaycee? Bring them too! See you there!

World's Slowest Brewery Tour Part 3

June 1, 3pm
For Part 3 of our Brewery Tour, we will be visiting Old Boys Brewhouse in Spring Lake. We have a tour at 3:00, and we'll be able to hang out on the deck and drink some beer after! Please join us for a fun afternoon!
